For all the Tim Burton fans this is a day I know you have been waiting for and for those who haven’t been introduced to Burton’s unique style this is a good start for you. The film is about a boy named Vincent and his beloved dog Sparky who unfortunately meets his demise only to be brought back to life by Vincent in a science fair experiment. The film is shot in black and white to give the feel of an old horror movie and pays homage to the giant monster movies of the past. May not be great for the more sensitive child as it does deal with the death of a family pet. This fun film is sure to become a family favorite.
