Smashburger opens in Florham Park Sept. 21
Smashburger is coming to Morris County, making its first appearance On Sept. 21 in Florham Park at 187 Columbia Turnpike, with another planned in Morris Plains.
The first Jersey location was in Montclair, which opened to rave reviews and a devoted fan base that’s constantly a-Twitter.
Originally based in Denver, the chain has been crisscrossing the map, and plans to open 500 eateries before the ball drops on 2010.
With so many burger places around – and Five Guys becoming the regular go-to – what’s so different about Smashburger?
Maybe it’s the cooking method. Fresh – never frozen — Certified Angus Beef is smashed on a flat grill to sear in flavor. There’s a variety of toppings and rolls, and the menu moves into a realm of creativity.
There’s the Smashdog, the Taylor, egg, ham and cheese Smashburger, Smashchicken and Smashsalads.
Check out the grand opening on Sept. 21 and let us know what you think. See www.smashburger.com for more information.
